TWO EMPIRES THAT FELL
One other civilisation that fell is that Roman Empire. This particular Empire fell because of a few reasons such as enemy attack. This was the biggest reason why the Empire fell because it was overthrown by the Germanic Leader Odoacer in 476 C.E.

VIKING AGE
Another age that ended was the Viking age. This age ended when the Viking raids stopped. There is not much to say about why they fell. They simply got in a fight they could not win against Europe. It is common known fact that the Vikings were skilled fighters but they were no match for an army of trained soldiers. This happen in the year 1066 and that was the last major Viking incursion in Europe.
